Kakukaku is a creative team aiming to create powerful expressions that evoke physicality.
In an age where information is highly complex and images of all kinds flow lightly and quickly, we pursue art and design that evokes the feeling of "being there" while accepting technology as a given.
The name "Kakaku" (red) embodies the meaning of a light that burns into your gaze, a brilliance that remains as an afterimage even after it has disappeared from your field of vision. Our starting point is to create expressions that will not be diluted in the sea of information, but will remain as an impression even after it has disappeared from your field of vision.
We assemble the optimal team for each project, working across a wide range of media, including spatial design, performance, logos, graphics, video, and text, and provide consistent direction from concept design to output.
How can we create a moment that makes people stop and react, rather than information that will be scrolled away and forgotten?
With this question at its core, Kakkaku will propose new forms of creation, moving back and forth between art and design, and the physical and digital.
